  Improved space utilisation: The stator windings of flat wire motors are usually of a compact design. The rectangular cross-sectional shape of the Glass-fiber and film wound rectangular copper wire allows it to better fill the stator slots, resulting in a significant increase in space utilisation compared to conventional round wire windings. This means that more conductors can be accommodated in the same stator size, thus increasing the power density of the motor.

  Reduced resistance loss: The larger cross-section of rectangular copper wire results in a relatively low resistance when passing the same current, which effectively reduces the copper loss in the winding. The low resistance characteristics of Glass-fiber and film wound rectangular copper wire help to increase the efficiency of the motor and reduce the loss of energy in the windings, especially in high-power, high-rpm flat-wire motors, where this advantage is more obvious.

  Advantage of heat dissipation: Flat wire motors generate a lot of heat during operation, and heat dissipation problems directly affect the performance and life of the motor. The rectangular cross-section of Glass-fiber and film wound rectangular copper wire is conducive to heat dissipation, and the contact area with the stator core and the cooling medium is larger, which can more effectively transfer the heat generated by the winding, improve the motor's heat dissipation efficiency, and reduce the motor's operating temperature.
