Self bonding Film
Alcohol self bonding: The self-bonding effect is achieved by adding an appropriate solvent (such as industrial alcohol) to the wire during the winding process. The recommended solvent is ethanol or methanol.
Hot air self bonding: Hot air is to achieve self bonding effect by blowing hot air on the wire during the winding process. The temperature of the hot air at the winding is usually between 120ºC-230ºC
Oven self bonding: Oven self bonding is achieved by placing the finished coil in an oven to heat it to achieve self adhesive effect. In order to achieve uniform heating of the coil, according to the shape and size of the coil, the temperature of the oven usually needs to be between 120 ° C and 220 ° C, and the required time varies from 5 to 30 minutes.
Power on self bonding: Electric self bonding is achieved by electric current (resistive heating). The required amperage depends on the shape and size of the coil. Power on self bonding is recommended for products with wire diameter above 0.10mm (38AWG)
