The Litz wire is actually made up of independent insulated conductors twisted wires. It can also be considered as solid wire twisted together. litz wire, also known as enameled stranded wire, is divided into ordinary and self-adhesive types,film wrapped.
Advantages of Litz Wire

2. High frequency performance. High frequency Litz Wire is made up of multiple insulated single wires twisted together, typically used for applications with operating frequencies between 10 kHz and 5 MHz. In the application of magnetic energy storage coils, high frequencies will generate eddy current losses. Eddy current losses increase with the increase of current frequency. The root cause of these losses is the skin effect and proximity effect, which can be reduced by using high-frequency Litz Wire. These losses caused by magnetic fields can be overcome through the twisted structure of Litz Wire.
