In some small electromagnetic relays, enameled aluminum wire can be used to wind electromagnetic coils. When the coil is energized, the magnetic field generated causes the contacts of the relay to operate, thus realizing the on-off control of the circuit. The insulation and electromagnetic properties of enameled aluminum wire can meet the working requirements of relays, while its low cost can reduce the production cost of relays.
In some cell phones that support the wireless charging function, enameled aluminum wires are used to make wireless charging receiving coils. When the cell phone is placed on the wireless charging base, the receiving coil converts the magnetic field energy emitted by the base into electric energy through the principle of electromagnetic induction, charging the cell phone. The good insulating properties and proper electrical conductivity of the enameled aluminum wire enable it to work stably during the wireless charging process while reducing the weight of the phone.
