  The density of aluminum is only 30% of copper, and enameled copper-clad aluminum wire with the same cross-sectional area is about 60% lighter than pure copper wire. Reducing the mass of the voice coil can reduce motion inertia. According to the force to mass ratio formula, it can shift the high-frequency cutoff frequency up by about 15% -20%. The measured high-frequency extension can be increased by 3-5 kHz, making it suitable for use in mid to high frequency speakers, such as tweeters.

  The DC resistivity of enameled copper-clad aluminum wire is between copper and aluminum. Although higher than pure copper, combined with its quality advantage, it can reduce power consumption at the same sound pressure level output.
